Do any of you know a really good texturing tutorial? I would love to texture my stuff (check em out?), but I have little to minor knowledge of texturing. I know what UV mapping is, I have tried it, but I can't seem to get it as clean as i'd like. I know basic texturing, but I have no idea how to make a specular or diffuse map.

Please someone help. I have tried many times to receive help, but no answers. I need to know how this works.

Try finding the Digital Tutors Texturing tutorials. They have loads and start from beginners to advanced. [link]
also try looking around [link] [link] and simplymaya.com

Thank you very much. I'm a Blender 3D user so I don't know how useful a Maya site will be, but I'll check it out.

The basic ideas are the same. Once you understand the process you can apply it to any program you use.
